a bird watching photo shoot gone wrong

It’s finally spring and the birds are back.

Early this morning I set myself up with camera, tripod and hot coffee.

Not one bird showed. I wonder why???

  1. No birds? And Bear is so nicely camouflaged, too…

Can’t say Bear isn’t helping. He’s well hidden for bird attraction.

Great pictures. Maybe the birds will stop by tomorrow.

We had some episodes of dogs vs. magpies in our yard. Your birds must be smarter than the ones down here.

Now, that’s worth a giggle. Thanks.

  6. Deana says:

Oh how funny but I love photo shoots being messed up like that. In the end you have to smile!

  7. srp says:

It looks like Bear is giving Sadie some pointers in how to hide from the birds…… but Coco is having none of that!
Thanks for reminding me that I still have a dozen or so birds to post in my “Birds at my feeder” series. I finished the woodpeckers… but yesterday saw the male red-bellied woodpecker and I haven’t gotten a shot of him yet.. just the female.

Hi Coll. I have lots of crows and sparrows over here. The occasional blue jay. Looks like another lovely sunny day in Winnipeg. Good luck with the bird photo shoot. I got mandated Wednesday evening. I was one of 3 nurses. But a good night with Deana & Christine. Hoppy Easter. H

  9. Pssh! Who needs birds when you have such photogenic subjects right in front of you? At least that’s what your threesome seem to be trying to tell you.

Hot coffee! I left mine back in Ohio and I’m DYING for a cup of coffee as I sit here in Alabama at 6:30 in the morning. Sigh.

    *chuckle* wonder.

You have the cutest furry friends. What bird wouldn’t love them?!
