And so it goes, as it does with most anticipated days… in the blink of an eye, all done for yet another year.
Our celebration of Christmas took place in our home on Boxing Day. All of our kids and Grandkids were there. I am so grateful to be able to have it this way.
Our home is not big by any means. Throw in eleven adults and two babies, and two dogs and one fat cat, and well… you may easily imagine the scene. Quite close cozy, to say the least. :-) I would have it no other way.
I wish I had been able to take more photos, but as luck would have it, I misplaced the head of my tripod. Add to that the busy role of playing hostess (and Mom and Grandma!).. and not many photos were snapped. But here are some that were.
This one I call soother envy. Sadie was fascinated by the two new little creatures and the very strange noises they made. She also showed great interest in their funny little chew toys.
A busy day does take its toll… little Zach found comfort in being draped across his Daddy’s knee.
And here they all are…
My four grandkids. How marvellous is that. :-)
My heart sings with this blessing.

Happy Holidays Colleen. Wonderful pic’s of the grand kids!
My Christmas supper went well with the kids & girlfriends. Thxs for letting me slip out early. H

Happy New Year!
Time just keeps moving along, my brother who is six years younger than me has three kids, two twin boys who are two and a three month old boy. It had me thinking about the passage of time this Christmas and it was a good reminder to do a little more with that time.
I’m glad you were able to have your family all there for the holidays!
Some things are more important than pictures, such as just BEING with family during the holidays. Great picture of Sadie and the baby as well as the others.
Have a wonderful 2009!
What beautiful babies! I am glad you had a wonderful Christmas, Col. We also had a rather fine Christmas out at the ranch, and with my parents and sister.
I hope the New Year is the best so far for you and your family!
best wishes and blessings to you and your family this coming year!
The holidays do seem to go by so quickly! So much preparation and before you know it, it’s over.
Glad you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. Thank you for sharing your photos!
And only babies grabbed soothers with no dog chase through the crowded house?
Looks like a warm Christmas. Lovely.
Great pictures even without all your accessories. The one of Sadie gazing in wonder is a classic. Glad you let her investigate. Some people get weird about dogs getting close to babies.
What a pair. I mean two pairs!
