This morning I awoke all wrapped up in that warm and cozy feeling that comes with knowing that I have four days off. My head was instantly swimming with things to do but my heart couldn’t stop smiling knowing that baby time topped all of the lists.
I am still very much in awe of these two little munchkins and can’t seem to get enough of their warm little bodies and sweet baby breath. I hold them tight and marvel at their little selves and wonder at who they will become. Admittedly they have me all a twitter. :-)
Getting older may have its draw backs but having grandchildren is definitely not one of them.
Being a Grandma Rocks!!

I can tell you really enjoy being a grandma.
(And, welcome to the dot com side of WP.)
Speaking for myself, being a grandma has just gotten better and better each year.
Of course they aren’t teenagers yet either.
I really like that hair….:)
Sometimes, I just look at ND and grin like an idiot.
My granddaughter had hair like that! Not to worry – it eventually lays down. :)
Grandchildren are such a blessing, aren’t they!
The best thing about being a grandparent is spoiling the heck out of the grandkids and then sending them home to their parents–payback!!!! ;-)
They are so cute! I just love being a Grandpa. Nothing brightens my day more than when one of my grandsons spot me, break into a smile and say, “Grampa!”
I agree Colleen. Being a grandma is just plain wonderful. I have 4 who live close by and 2 in a nearby state.
Oh Col…I am so happy for all of you !!
So glad your enjoying your new grandbabies. MY how they have changed already! Your a wonderful grandma. H
It’s so nice for you that they are close enough for you to enjoy on a regular basis.
They grow up so fast. It’s so nice to be around to see.

I love all the new baby pics. Look at that hair! That is so sweet. I know you must be having the time of your life. Now I just have to remember to change your address on my blog roll.
They are so precious!
You have some very cute bookends there!
Oh what joy! Thanks for your condolences, Coll. We have a couple of new babes in our family, too, so some joy to accompany the sadness.
